It is pretty obvious in this day and age; everyone in the world is trying to save every single penny that they come. This is one of the main reasons why affordable auto insurance is so important. Michigan auto insurance is a lot different from insurance elsewhere in the United States. Required by law in Michigan, no fault insurance has three basic parts. These are personal injury protection, property protection insurance and residual liability insurance (bodily injury and property damage coverage). If you want to register a car in Michigan, auto insurance has to be purchased, and you have to prove that you have it. Like most other places in the US, driving a car without insurance is against the law.

The web changed the way we shop for car insurance. We used to take a walk through the Yellow Pages. Sometimes an agent or broker would actually come to our home in hopes of lining us up for the full package of insurance products: life, automobile and home. But those days are long gone when it comes to vehicle insurance. Like electricity and water, vehicle insurance has become a regular commodity. Once the first broker put an Instant Quote feature for car insurance up on its website, the game was over. Now the majority of us get quotes on the internet, even if we don’t actually buy auto insurance.
