There are many, many motorcycle gifts available to give or keep for yourself if you ride. These range from safety items that are a basic staple of the rider, to the fun and funky items you may or may not desire. The price ranges go from cheap to very expensive, so consider the personality of the rider and your budget before beginning your search.

Warmer weather is lurking, right around the corner. There is an itch in the air making you want to dust off, shine up, and ride your bike. You can not wait until you feel the asphalt beneath your tires, and the sun in your face. You wonder if you will need special apparel. Biker clothing is not only for those who ride motorcycles. Protection is what you are seeking, whether you ride iron horses, or their smaller, motor less counterparts.

Bikers need funny biker t-shirts just like Hollywood need public relation agents. Bikers have gotten a terrible rap over the years because of the heinous actions of only a very small percent of the motorcycle world. There is no doubt that there have been some historical evidence of crime within the ranks of American bikers, but that doesn’t mean that every weekend rider has a pocket full of drugs to sell.

Motorcycle chaps provide great style, and furthermore, they also provide added safety while riding motorcycles. This protective gear is worn by a majority of motorcyclists as they wear them not only to support a traditional bad boy or biker image, but these leather accessories are an integral part of traditional motorcycle apparel. This is because of the safety they provide to the lower part of the body for the biker.

I want to address a question I have gotten a lot recently. (I am sure it has a lot to do with the hit show Sons of Anarchy) It is from people who want to start new Motorcycle Clubs. They want to know if they should go to the predominate MCs in their area to talk about starting a new MC first. Many have said to me they do not understand the reason why they should go talk to them! Some have even gone as far as to say that if they have to go to the predominate MC in their area and ask permission that just proves that MC is a Criminal Gang! Not sure how they came to that conclusion but they are some very strong words sent over the computer.

Some people have a hard time letting go, freeing themselves from the day to day trials and tribulations of everyday life even for a little while. Others seek an escape from the stress and anxiety often associated with modern day life.

on 9/11/01 America was scared. We had for only the 2nd time in our history, taken a real hit. This one was not a shot to the body like the one we had taken on December 7th, 1941. This was a Punch in the face. Our collective noses were bleeding. Americans were terrified. The whole country had been injured.

In the Heart of the New York Catskill Mountains, there is a place called Nicks Waterfall House. I have been there many times and it has become one of my favorite places of all time to ride to.

I have been active in the Motorcycle Community for many years. I’ve stood up for Biker’s Rights. As a freelance writer, I’ve written about Clubs, the Community, and the Brotherhood of the Biker World. I’ve also been involved in many Biker related events either as a DJ or MC.
