All terrain vehicles are usually referred to as ATVs. They are also called quads, quad bikes, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. Some are for recreation, others for utility purposes. There are two basic types. Type I is for the operator only. Type II is for the operator and 1 passenger. They are designed for off the road use only. The seat of ATVs are similar to a motorcycle seat. It has to be straddled by the vehicle operator. Another similarity to a motorcycle are the handle bars for steering. They are designed to be driven, or operated, on rugged territory unsuitable for automobiles.

There is a growing number of UTV owners that absolutely love to ride them. Motorcycles and ATV’s tend to really be rough on the riders and are small machines that are used just for recreation. A Utility Vehicle can provide it’s owner with recreational use as well as becoming a workhorse on the farm or jobsite.

Any ride on a motorcycle is bound to be one of the greatest thrills you may ever experience. Very different from the sheltered environment of a regular vehicle, a motorcycle allows you to feel the power of the engine directly below you and you can’t get much closer to the earth beneath you either. With a good set of Dunlop motorcycle tires for a smooth ride, no other experience can compare.

Keeping your car’s tires maintained is a task that is usually dismissed by car owners. Instead of upgrading to a set of say Fuzion XTI tires most people as long as they are not flat, are content to just leave them and not pay much attention to them.

For Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, a world-wide rubber and tire maker known for tires like the Goodyear Fortera SilentArmor, the number 13 was very good luck. In the year Eighteen Hundred and Ninety Eight (1898), Frank Seiberling who was a U.S. inventor, formed the company Bicycle tires, carriage tires, horseshoe pads and poker chips were the original products for the cutting edge company and all of the thirteen hardworking original employees contributed greatly to the production process which took place in their beloved Akron, Ohio production plant.

A fear of every car owner is the day he or she will have car trouble and have to replace parts of the engine that are located under the hood. That’s easy to understand. There’s always a substantial repair bill to be paid when an alternator, catalytic converter, fuel pump, or any of the car’s other components needs to be replaced.

Have you ever found yourself on the side of the road with a flat tire, and not been able to fix it because you were missing the proper tools? If you don’t have your cell phone with you, or have traveled quite a distance from your home, this scenario can be quite distressing. Even if you do have your cell phone, there are many areas where a signal is not available. There is one thing that cannot be disputed, a tire iron is required to loosen the lug nuts, and you must be able to loosen the lug nuts to change your tire. Even if you have a nice set of Goodyear silent armor, the best of tires can still give out on you.
