There is nothing like the wind in your hair the feel of the open road and felling all of that raw horsepower underneath you. Now unless you plan on riding naked, which I do not recommend you will need to buy a motorcycle vest along with other motorcycle apparel.

Despite what you hear, there are only two problems with living in Los Angeles: the traffic and the traffic. Yeah, it’s a cliche by now, but the truth is the truth. You can’t expect to go anywhere in the City of Angels and not be in your car for at least 45 minutes. If you’re lucky and it’s 3 AM on a Sunday, you might be looking at 30 minutes. No matter what you do, if it’s not within walking distance — which nothing is in LA — you’re starting your engine and hitting the road.

Unless you’ve been under a bed for 30 years, you know what the party line regarding motorcycles is. We’ve been bombarded with so many notions of what a motorcycling lifestyle entails, we just take it for granted now. If you were to chime in that motorcycling is a perilous, unpredictable lifestyle and means of transportation, you’d be pegged as some kind of four-eyed square peg. No one wants his or her myth of a Steppenwolf-soundtracked freedom curtailed.

When you buy a 50cc gas scooter you are getting into a vehicle that falls in between the vehicle category and the category classified as mopeds. Whether or not you are going to need a drivers license to operate one is going to vary from location to location as many countries and regions of the world classify them differently. If for instance, you live in the EU, but not in France or Italy, you are allowed to operate one without a driving license, but in those two countries you must have a minimum of a car license to operate anything up to 125cc. None of the rules governing the use of these modes of transportation have truly been defined, so there is not a lot of clarity on what you really need.

If you are a die hard motorcycle rider then you know the importance of a motorcycle jacket that will keep you comfortable in all kinds of weather. The folks at hogcooler.com have developed a system that will do just that. They have developed a motorcycle that will stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Bikers who wear a motorcycle jacket are always complaining that they can never stay cool in the summer and most times than not are constantly cold in the winter.
