Car Clubs – Should You Raise Membership Fees?

The problem becomes determining if it is time to raise membership fees, or start looking for ways to supplement the money that is needed. Between fund raisers and membership fees most clubs should be ok, but once the money is not enough to handle the basic needs budget crisis can occur and it is time to start pinching pennies until a solution is worked out.

There are some times when selling your car through your collectors car club can be a great idea. But there are also times when it is not such a good idea. Determining if it is the best situation for your particular circumstances often varies depending upon how much you need for the vehicle. For example, those who are looking for an incredible deal of a great car tend to look at car clubs. But at the same time, they are also looking for a cheap deal. If you are looking to get top dollar from your car you may want to sell your car outside of the club to increase your profit.

A lost Sense of Freedom

Whenever a person or group of people try to live their lives free, those who are stuck in unhappy lives will be jealous. Some people have a hard time letting go, freeing themselves from the day to day trials and tribulations of everyday life even for a little while. Others seek an escape from the stress and anxiety often associated with modern day life. I guess for me, that’s part of why I am a Biker. There is something about riding a bike that inspires a sense of freedom in me. The open road, the wind in my face, the smells, getting back to nature, the power of my bike. It’s all these things and more that make me feel free. It’s unfortunate that there are some people who, for whatever reason, can’t find something or someway to let go and experience the sense of freedom that we do. These people, for whatever reason, are the ones who point to us and call us rogues or rebels. They say that what we are doing is wrong and that our culture is a “disruptive influence.”

There are thousands of car clubs all around the country and selecting a club that is suitable for your child is something that can be a very interesting task. It is always a wise decision to carefully check out any club that you are considering signing your child up for. You certainly do not want to allow your child to join a club that you know nothing at all about. There are so many opportunities to get hurt without appropriate supervision, but a good car club can be a great place for a child to learn about cars.

There are of course dozens if not hundreds of clubs located across the entire country, yet many of these clubs are subpar at best and do not offer all of the benefits that you need in order to really justify them.
