Leather Motorcycle Jackets are Stylish

When you think of a motorcycle rider, you probably imagine someone wearing a leather motorcycle jacket. However, many of these jackets aren’t comfortable. Are there safe, comfortable, and stylish jackets out there?
If you’re in the market to buy a leather motorcycle jacket, you should always make sure it will keep you safe. Thickness is one of the major concerns, and your jacket should be at least a millimeter thick.
A drawback to leather motorcycle jackets is their lack of protective armor. There are some that do feature it however. You should look for semi rigid armor that doesn’t shift when you move, in the back and chest.
If you are worried about your leather staying intact in the rain, there are now some jackets available that are waterproof. These jackets are only being produced by a few manufacturers at this point.
There is some debate over what size jacket is the best. You have the option of a three quarter or half size length. Half size is more traditional, and while it has less storage space, it’s the classic.
A three quarter length jacket is better if you have somewhat of a gut, and a lot of us do. These jackets don’t have the classic style, but they do have many more storage pockets and better coverage for longer rides.
A black leather motorcycle jacket may be traditional, but you can find one in any color out there. There are also jackets that have team colors and logos so that you can show your pride.
When you’re looking for a leather motorcycle jacket, it may be because it’s the traditional choice, but there are many new styles and technologies found in the jackets available now.
